LIKE WENGER, LIKE JONATHAN

LIKE WENGER, LIKE JONATHAN!

I have been reading with amusement comments online since Arsenal lost badly to Chelsea Yesterday. It was a 6-0 massacre. All Arsenal fans are very angry, they have unanimously called for the sack of Arsenal's coach, Arsene Wenger.

Now ask yourself, did Wenger kick a ball Yesterday during the defeat? Definitely NOT. But everybody is calling for his head, why? Because he is the coach, the head and a head takes responsibility for successes and failures of his wards, organization and all.
He selected the players that prosecuted the match, he drew the tactics and pattern of play of his Arsenal side but did not enter the field of play, yet he is the one everybody is baying for his blood. Nobody is talking about the players that actually kicked the ball, failed to hold Chelsea at bay and conceded SIX GOALS!

Fast forward to Nigeria. You sit in your small corner and make excuses for your Governor and President, LG chair and councilor, Senators and Reps members for failing to provide for you the basics of life such as electricity, good roads, clean water, safe society among others that same leaders provide for their people without giving childish and most times ridiculous excuses.

You attack people like us when we say that Jonathan as the head of a failed government should be the first to be shown the door. Why? He appointed the Ministers, Special Advisers, Special Special Advisers etc yet We cannot enjoy more than 1 hour of public electricity in three days. You are quick to say 'the north is frustrating' Jonathan, and or some people in his government want him to fail. Who cares? He selected the team just like Wenger did and the team is failing like Wenger's Arsenal, so let us show him the door come 2015 as he has failed to deliver on majority of his promises. Nigeria is a failing Arsenal team now, so if you as a lover of the English team is asking for Wenger to be sacked for losing badly earlier yesterday, and for not winning a trophy for the club in the last seven years, yet you are calling for patience for a man that has been in the saddle for over five years without a 'trophy' to boast of save for his fanatical, ethnical and religious fans sticking by him...

But like Wenger, its time for all fans of Jonathan to see through the thick foil of fanaticism and call for his sack in 2015. Like Wenger, he has been losing electricity, corruption, bad roads, security 'matches' BADLY by the day.

There is a lesson to be learnt from the Wenger experience; the leader takes FULL responsibility for the SUCCESSES and FAILURES of the team. He is the first to have his head called for by angry, unsatisfied subjects (fans).

So, enough of all these dumb excuses on behalf of Jonathan by his army of ethnic warriors. Kick him out before he sends Nigeria into relegation waters.
