Caught on CCTV: Hero brother, 10, Saves Toddler From Terrifying Dog Attack

This is the moment ten-year-old Kashish Dhanani fights to save his toddler sister from the jaws of a snarling German shepherd in a terrifying tug of war.
Video of the jaw-dropping struggle in Ahmedabad, India, was captured on a building's CCTV cameras and has gone viral after thousands shared the brave brother's battle to save his sibling.
The drama began on the morning of December 23 when Kashish and 15-month-old sister Kanchi were playing in a shared garden at Anaahata Flats in Makarba.

An elderly neighbour, Arun Pasi, who lives on the fifth floor in the same block, was also in the garden with her pet German shepherd which was running loose.
The video shows the dog playfully pawing Kanchi at first before it turns aggressiveand begins pulling her by her legs.

Kashish intervenes, lifting his sister to safety, but he is chased by the determined pet, which locks onto the child's clothes, powerfully trying to pull the tot from her brother's grasp.
Schoolboy Kashish battled the hound for 10 minutes and at one point is seen to lose his balance as the dog drags Kanchi on to the lawn like a rag doll.
Eventually, he was helped by some adults.
The children's mother, Kamini Dhanani, told ndtv.com: "Kanchi escaped unhurt. The dog's teeth had only pierced her clothes. Kashish received some cuts and bruises.
"My children usually go to the garden to play. Since the society has a security guard and it is safe, I let them go on their own."
Kashish said: "All I wanted was to keep my sister safe and I am happy that she is unhurt. Had it been anyone else in place of my sister, I would have done the same."
