Father 'Shoots Son In Buttocks After Orange Juice Runs Out'

A father shot his 18-year-old son in the buttocks during an argument about the orange juice running out.
Eldridge Dukes, 58, was arrested early Sunday after admitting shooting his son, The Advocate reports.
They had been fighting about the lack of orange juice in their Louisiana home, according to a police arrest report.

The row escalated when the victim broke a porcelain vase, and Dukes grabbed his .357 caliber handgun, family members told detectives.
The dad chased his son out of the house and down the street, firing his gun at him, at least three times.
He hit the victim once in the buttocks, detectives said.
The victim was taken to Baton Rouge General Mid-City Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the report says.
The victim's mother called police, and Dukes confessed to the shooting, authorities said.
Dukes, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, US, was held in custody on counts of attempted manslaughter and illegal use of a dangerous weapon.
