Actress Anne Njemanze runs for dear life as her 2nd marriage crashes due to domestic violence. Anne who played the role of Inspector Sankey in the MNET series, Tinsel, married Silver Ojieson, who is younger than her, in November 2013. .
The cause of the crash is said to be as a result of frequent dose of beating she receives from silver. It got to a stage that she suffered a dislocated shoulder and her shoulders started looking like a spoilt cloth hanger. Their neighbors confirm that their home was a beehive of cries of fighting and serious beatings everyday. Silver, the only son of parents, moved out of their home in Lagos last July.
Anne was formerly married to Segun Arinze. When asked in an interview with Leadership Newspaper back in 2013 whether she was afraid that her 2nd marriage might crash again, She said: “No! I reject it. I thank Segun Arinze!! Without him I wouldn’t have met my Silver. Me and Silver have our differences, just like other couples do, but it is not enough to say, we no do again. Before we got married, we told ourselves that divorce and separation are no option.”
“They were always quarreling. The guy kept complaining to me about the issues he was having with his wife and couldn’t take it any longer. I wouldn’t really want to disclose much. But I can categorically tell you the marriage has packed up,” the source said.
Saturday Beats contacted the actress on the telephone and immediately she was asked about the state of her marriage, she ended the call abruptly.
Subsequently, a text message was sent to her phone which she responded to. She told some journalist that she did not want to talk on the state of her marriage.
“Thank you but no, I am not granting interviews now. Stay blessed,” she said in the text.
