Identical Twins Give Birth On The Same Day And At the Same Time But In Different Cities

Being identical twins is unique enough, but one pair of twin sisters didn’t leave it at that.
They are defying the odds, after giving birth to their first-born children at the same time!
Leah Rodgers has always been one small step ahead of her sister, Sarah Mariuz.
“I have a unique bond with my identical twin sister, we are 11 minutes apart and I was born first,” said Rodgers.

Rodgers was even married first, tying the knot nine years ago, five years before Sarah.
Now she can also technically claim she had her first child ahead of Sarah as well, even though the new cousins share the same birthday and were even born at the same time.
Rodgers' son, Reid Joseph, was born first, at 1:18 in the morning on Mountain Time in Denver.
An hour later, Mariuz delivered her daughter, Samantha Lynne, at 1:18 in the morning on Pacific Time in La Jolla, California.
Denver7 had to ask if the twins had planned their pregnancies.
“No not at all, No it’s funny. I don’t think you could plan it the way this all as turned out even if we tried,” said Rodgers, “It was just a pure coincidence, I guess. Maybe a twincidence.”
